Is TakeCare really free?

Yes! 100% free, forever. No hidden fees, no premium tiers, no ads. We believe healthcare tools should be accessible to everyone.

How secure is my health data?

Extremely secure. We use AES-256 encryption (same as banks), TLS/SSL for data transmission, and follow HIPAA privacy principles. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly sync it.

Can I manage medicines for my family?

Absolutely! Create unlimited family member profiles and manage all medications in one place. Perfect for parents, caregivers, and multi-generational households.

What if my medicine isn't in the database?

No problem! You can add custom medicines with full details. Our database has 10,000+ medications, but we know every case is unique.

Does it work offline?

Yes! All core features work offline. Your medicines, reminders, and dose logs are stored locally and sync when you're back online.

Can TakeCare replace my doctor?

No. TakeCare is a medication tracking tool, not medical advice. Always consult healthcare professionals for medical decisions.

What platforms does TakeCare support?

TakeCare is available on iOS (16.0+) and Android (8.0+). We're working on tablet optimization and web version for future releases.

How do reminders work?

Set custom reminder times for each medicine. Get notifications at the right time, snooze if needed, and log doses with one tap. Reminders work even when offline.

Can I export my data?

Yes! Go to Settings → Export My Data to download all your information in JSON format. You own your data and can take it with you anytime.

What happens if I miss a dose?

TakeCare tracks missed doses and shows them in your adherence statistics. You can log missed doses as "skipped" with optional notes about why.

How does stock tracking work?

Set initial stock levels and TakeCare automatically decrements when you log doses. Get alerts when running low and track refill history.

Can I see my medication history?

Yes! View detailed history, adherence charts, streak tracking, and calendar views. Export reports for doctor visits.

Is my data backed up?

If you enable cloud sync, your data is backed up to Supabase with AES-256 encryption. You can also create manual backups anytime.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account Management → Delete Account. You can export your data first. See our Data Deletion Policy for details.

Can I use TakeCare for vitamins and supplements?

Absolutely! TakeCare works for any medication, vitamin, supplement, or health routine you want to track.

How accurate is the medicine database?

Our database includes 10,000+ medications with information from reliable medical sources. However, always verify with your healthcare provider.

Do you sell my data?

Never. We never sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties. Your privacy is sacred. Read our Privacy Policy.

Can I customize reminder sounds?

Yes! Choose from different notification sounds or use your device's default. Customize per medicine or use global settings.
